Artist: Jane Siddall

Jane says:
“My work draws on subjects from myths, fairy tales and literature, particularly in relation to feminist re-readings, re-writings and discussions. The themes my work encompass include forbidden love, beauty, beasts and animals and transformation.
The initial image is essential to all my pieces, and I work principally in drawing and collage before transforming them into hand embroidered pieces.
